It’s a tonic with antifungal, antiseptic properties and is used in skincare formulations for its refreshing, restorative action and its sweet scent. Marjoram essential oil is also well known for aiding restful sleep so this soap is good to use when having a relaxing bath in the evening before going to bed.

Caring for your soap
Handmade soaps naturally have a high glycerin content which is great for your skin but means that the soap needs to dry out between uses. If left standing in water, the soap will break down quickly and become soggy. To extend the life of your handcrafted soap, place it in a well-draining soap dish.
